Karnataka Bank bags “IBA Banking Technology Award 2012-13”

Mangalore, Jan 28: Karnataka Bank, the Mangalore based premier private sector bank has been adjudged 2nd Runner up of IBA Banking Technology Award 2012-13 for Customer Management Initiative under private sector bank category.

The award was received by Shri. P. Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank from Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath A Mashelkar, Chairman, National Innovation Foundation, in the presence of Shri K R Kamath, Chairman, IBA and CMD of Punjab National Bank, at a glittering function held at Mumbai on 27-01-2014.

“The customer has always been the focal point of our business initiatives. This award demonstrates the Bank’s customer centric approach and the innovative use of technology to enhance the levels of customer service and satisfaction”, said Sri P. Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank.
