Bengaluru, April 3, 2024: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will announce the result of the 2nd Pre-University Examination (2nd PUC 2024) soon. However, the exact date and time of the declaration are yet to be confirmed by the board authorities.

It is recommended that candidates stay updated by regularly visiting the official website of KSEAB, kseab.karnataka.gov.in, for the latest updates on the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2024. Once announced, the Karnataka PUC 2 results will be accessible on karresults.nic.in. Students can verify their results by entering their registration number along with their subject combination/stream.

Meanwhile, the board authorities have dismissed claims regarding the announcement of the Karnataka PUC 2 result 2024 on April 3 as false.

Currently, the evaluation of answersheets is in progress, and once this process concludes, a specific date and time for the Karnataka 2nd PUC result declaration will be determined. Students and parents are cautioned against trusting misleading and unauthorised information circulating on social media platforms. The Karnataka 2nd PUC examination took place from March 1 to 23 across 1,124 examination centres, accommodating approximately 7 lakh students. Evaluation procedures commenced on March 25.

    Access the Karnataka result portal at karresults.nic.in.

    Navigate to the PUC 2 exam result link available on the homepage.
    
    Upon reaching the login page, enter your KSEAB registration number and          
    choose your subject combination or stream (Science/Arts/Commerce).

    After submission, proceed to view your 2nd PUC result on the next page.

PASSING MARKS REQUIRED FOR KARNATAKA 2ND PUC

To pass the exam, students must achieve a minimum of 33 percent marks. Those who narrowly miss this requirement may be promoted through the allocation of grace marks, limited to a maximum of 5 percent by teachers. However, students scoring below the threshold will need to take compartment exams. Any student failing in all subjects will be required to repeat the class.

HOW TO CHECK KARNATAKA 2ND PUC RESULT 2024 VIA SMS

To access their scorecard, students should follow these steps: Firstly, open the SMS application on their phone. Then, they should type ’KAR12’ followed by a space and enter their registration number, as stated on their admit card, into the message box. Finally, send the message to 56263. By doing so, students will receive a summary of their scorecard, encompassing subject scores and overall marks achieved in the class.

In 2023, a total of 74.67 percent of students who participated in the exam successfully passed. Among them, the pass rate for girls stood at 80.25 percent, whereas for boys, it was 69.05 percent. The announcement of the results occurred on April 21. Over 7.27 lakh students were registered for the examination.
