Karkala, Aug 12, 2017 :  Two men crushed to death on August 12, Saturday in stone quarry, at Hebri , as the truck toppled while the driver reversed the vehicle came in contact with bunker.

Sanjeeva (35) works as driver, Jagadish (43)works as loader, native of Uttar Pradesh are identified  as the deceased.


Reports said that after loding the stones into bunker the truck driver reversed the vehicle, due to which it toppled, crushing both to death. The bodies are held between the debris, opertion to retrieve the bodies is underway.


Karakala police are investigating the case.
