Karkala: Mother, son killed in Truck-car collision

Karkala, Oct 05, 2016: In a ghastly accident, mother and her son killed when their car collided head on with Truck at State Highway near Nitte in Karkala on October 05, Wednesday evening.
The deceased are Shalet D’Souza wife of Walter D’souza, proprietor of Glorious Oil Mill and their son Winston D’Souza, residents of Miyar in Karakala.
It is said that Shalet and Winston were on therir way to Karkala and the truck plying from oppiste direction collided with their car. Both were seriously injured and breathed their last on the spot.
Karkal police are investigating the case.
