Karkala: Minor girl raped, accused arrested

Karkala Apr 07, 2016: The 12 year old girl allegedly raped by her uncle and impregnated. The incident took place at Belman in Karkala.
The accused is identified as Nagesh (30). He was a resident of Tamilnadu ,working in at a black stone quarry .
It is learnt that the girl was staying with her grandmother and uncles since her parent’s death. One of her uncle Nagesh used to sexually harass the and even threatened her of the dire consequences. Due to fear the girl did not reveal the matters to anyone, as result she became pregnant. She had been to Belman Primary health centre and later taken to Children and Maternity hospital where the doctor informed the matter to the police.
On information of the girl Police Inspector GM Nayak investigated the case .Nagesh was arrested and produced before court.
