Karkala : Bike-bus collision claims pillion rider’s life

Karkala, Dec 26, 2019: A pillion rider of a two-wheeler lost his life when the vehicle was hit by a bus at Mavinakatte in Nandalike village on December 25, Wednesday evening.
The deceased is Sadananda Moolya of Parappady in Kantavara village. The bike rider James Cardoza has sustained serious injuries and is admitted to a private hospital in Udupi.
The bus was heading towards Karkala while the bike was proceeding towards Belman when the mishap took place. Both the riders fell on the road due to the impact of the collision. Sadananda who sustained serious injuries in his head and legs died on the spot.
