Karkala :17 persons injured as Bus rams into Tempo at Nellikatte

Karkala Aug 03, 2016: Bus collded its head with tempo at Nellikatte in Karkala on August 03, Wednesday. Three are seriously injured and other fourteen sustain minor injuries in the accident.

Tempo driver Pravin Nayak, Sunil Nayak and Mohini(62) have been seriously injured the accident are being treated at Manipal Hospital.

The other injured are Prajna(21), Dhananjay(23), Apoorva(18), Sunil(20), Priya(18), Jayanti(53), Savithri(47), Pravin(38), Antony(36), Vasanthi(52), Kanaka(19), Swathi(19), Akshaya Nayak (29) and bus driver N R Swamy(45). They are being traeted at a Hospital in Karkala.

It is said that Bus Plying From Dharmasatala to Hebri as the the driver lost control collided with the Tempo coming from the opposite direction . Due to the accident seventeen persons were injured . The Traffic was snarled in the region for an hour.

The Karakala police are investigating the case.
