Kadaba youth suicide case ; body found after 10 days

Mangaluru, Aug 26, 2019: The body of a youth who had committed suicide by jumping off the Netravathi bridge in Ullal  has been traced ten days later  about 12 km away from New Mangalore Port.

 

The deceased youth is Sadashiva (26), a resident of Noojibaltila of Kadaba taluk. He had jumped into the Netravathi river on the night of August 16.

The Coast Guard personnel who found the  body floating in the sea, had immediately informed the cops.  The body was identified as that of Sadashiva by his relatives based on the raincoat,  bracelet and tattoo on his body.

Sadashiva was a water man in railway station. As usual he had  left the railway station on the night of August 16 but did not return to his residence at Jeppinamogaru. His bike was later found on the Ullal bridge. Documents in the vehicle  confirmed that it belonged to Sadashiva.
