Mangaluru, Dec 8, 2019: A scooterist lost his life when his Activa scooter was knocked down by a KSRTC bus at Adyar on the outskirts of the city on December 8, Sunday.

The deceased is Hameed (50), a resident of Addoor. He was returning from a wedding function at a hall at Arkula when tragedy struck. The KSRTC bus which was heading towards Mangaluru from BC Road hit the scooter  from the rear killing Hameed on the spot.
