They alleged that  the high handed behaviour of the police who  had reportedly offended the conductor in front of the lady passenger in the station, might have  deeply hurt Devadas who chose to end his life.

Leaders and members of KSRTC Bus Employees Association demanded that  Kadaba police arrive at the spot and have a look at the face of Devadas and urged them not to repeat such mistakes. The Association leader also said  that it was an unpardonable offence  of the cops to reportedly undress the conductor on the pretext of checking.

Puttur ASP Rishwanth and Puttur Rural Circle Inspector Anil Kulakarni who rushed to the spot,    consoled the  agitated family members and well wishers and assured to get the incident probed by higher officials if a complaint was lodged. They also assured action against anyone found guilty.

Some times feel the people act over simple matters there was no need to make it an issue . mutual understanding and co-operation in public . The lady will repent for this incident all her life. this is the worst incident ever.

The action has to be taken on the people responsible for this act . Devdas was the sincere and the honest person. He has surrendered himself because it hurt his self respect and was humiliated.
