Mangaluru, Apr 30, 2018: The Janata Dal (Secular) which has fielded Ratnaker Suvarna as its candidate for Mangaluru South constituency, has released its manifesto on April 30, Monday.
The JD(S) manifesto has promised good roads, footpath, regular water supply, hi-tech markets, efforts to maintain communal harmony and steps towards effective implementation of Smart City Project. It also speaks about developing coastal tourism as well as multi-level parking facility at four places in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Vasanth Poojary, President of the Mangaluru South constituency unit JD(S) said a flourishing Karnataka is the dream of JD(S). If elected it promises Rs 5000 honorarium for senior citizens, monthly health allowance of Rs 6000 for six months for new mothers, setting up of IT parks in every district, continuous power supply, upgradation of government hospitals etc.
Party leaders Akshith Suvarna, Shilpa Ramesh, Rameeza Banu, Bharathi Pushparaj and others were present.
