Inebriated taxi driver knocks down parked vehicle in Manipal

Manipal, Jan 07, 2017: A taxi driver in an inebriated state allegedly knocks down parked two wheelers at Lakshmindra Nagar in Manipal on January 07, Saturday.
The eyewitness say that they noticed a speeding taxi allegedly coming towards the footpath and knocks down the two wheelers parked. Luckily no injuries were reported, as the owner had parked the vehicle on roadside been to a shop here.
Police rushed to spot on information. Taxi driver was taken to custody on charges of Drunk and drive.
Manipal police are investigating the case.
