’My Monument Search’ is an all-India poster competition organized by the Heritage Education and Communication Service division of INTACH’s national organisation. Participants had to create a poster depicting a heritage building of the region, along with a caption and a brief essay on how to protect it. The contest aims to promote exploration and cultural education among children. About 30 students from various schools participated in the event. Their entries will be sent for the national evaluation, where national and regional prizes will be awarded.

Subhas Chandra Basu, convener of the INTACH Mangalore Chapter, introduced the programme. "This competition provides students with an opportunity to explore their own neighborhood and identify various heritage buildings and their historic significance," he said. Pranesh Kudroli, drawing teacher at Canara High School, Urva, was also present.
