ICYM programme in Udupi tomorrow

Mangaluru, Jan 13, 2017: A media release informs that as a par of the ICYM National Youth Convention organised by Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) at St. Joseph’s Engineering College at Vamanjoor in Mangaluru from January 18 to 22, youth representatives from dioceses across the country will arrive in Udupi on January 14, tomorrow, to experience staying with families in the Udupi diocese under the head ‘Days in Diocese’ programme.

It is so programmed that the youth of other areas of India get an opportunity to witness and experience art, culture and ways of life of the local people through the ‘Days in Diocese’ programme. Delegates arrive a week prior to the convention and stay in groups with the families of ICYM members in the diocese as well as neighbouring dioceses.

The valedictory of the programme will be held at St. Lawrence Minor Basilica at Attur at 10 a.m. on January 17.
