Udupi, Nov 05 2019: A young housemaid hailing from Sirsi has been admitted to the government  hospital at Ajjarkad here after she was allegedly assaulted by her lady employer with a wooden log.

The victim Saraswati (20) worked for a woman named Sowmya at Udyavar. She has alleged that her employer lady used to  physically and mentally  torture her even for minor  mistakes. It has also been alleged that the girl has not been given her salary since three months.

A case has been registered in Udupi women’s police station.
