House looted on pretext of asking drinking water in Udupi

Udupi: August 22, 2015: A man entered into a house near Alevoor road after asking for a water and allegedly stole valuable and cash amounting to Rs 46,000.

According to the sources, the house belongs to Krishna Poojary. As his mother was alone at the house, Prabhat who is known to the family is said to have come there and asked for the water.
The woman asked him to get inside the house. As the woman went to kitchen to fetch water, Prabhat escaped with laptop, mobile phone, tab and cash worth Rs. 4000.

It is learnt that the cost of stolen goods is estimated at Rs. 46,000.
A case has been registered at local police station.
