Hotel Maya International to launch Privilege Cards for honored guests

Mangalore, Sep 21, 2011: Rotarian Shrikanth Nayak, a partner of Hotel Maya International, a unit of SRK Associates, said that the hotel will launch the Privilege Card and Lucky Draw Coupon as part of its first anniversary celebrations in Hotel Maya International’s Prathik Banquet Hall on September 23 Friday at 7:00 p.m. He was addressing reporters at a press conference held at the hotel today.

Speaking about the Privilege Card, he said that it will be presented to esteemed guests in recognition of their support to the hotel during its early stages. Holders of Privilege Card will get 10 percent discounts on single bills over Rs. 500 and 20 percent discount on single bills over Rs. 4999 at MAGUS, a multi cuisine restaurant. More than 1000 guests will receive this card, which has a validity of 3 years.

The cardholders can also get 10 percent discount on a double deluxe room and pent house and 20 percent discount on family and suit rooms, he informed.

Speaking about the Lucky Draw Coupon, he said that it is meant for guests who dine in MAGUS from September 23, 2011 and generate a bill over Rs. 2000. These coupons will be issued till December 31, 2011. On New Year Eve, a lucky draw will be held and the first prize winner will get a trip to Singapore for a couple, the second prize winner will get a one-night stay at Maya Pent House, and the third prize winner will get a microwave oven.

Vasudev Kamath, another partner of the hotel, said that Seemanth Kumar Singh, the Mangalore police commissioner; D. Hoovappa Gowda, the deputy commissioner of Karnataka Excise; and Kadri Navneeth Shetty, the deputy chief manager of Times of India, will be the guests of honor.

Vijaykumar Kodialbail, the Tulu drama director, and actor Navin D. Padil will be honored in recognition of their Tulu movie Oriyardori Asal completing 120 successful days on the occasion. Kasargod Chinna will also be honored for getting elected as the president of the Karnataka Konkani Academy and for directing the Konkani film Ujvadoo.

The hotel will also provide lunch on that day for prominent Mangalore-based social service organizations such as Dr. Giridhar Rao and Sanjeevi Bai Vriddashram in Kodialbail and Roman and Catherine School for the Blind on Kotekani Road.
