Mangalore, September 23: SRK Associates Mangalore today inaugurated its new venture Hotel Maya International located at Paramount West Gate, opposite Mangalore Nursing Home on Balmatta Road.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mayor Rajani Duganna inaugurated the hotel, while Deputy Mayor Rajendra Kumar and A G Pai, COO, MSEZ inaugurated other outlets. The other dignitaries who participated in the inauguration ceremony as the guests of honor are: former state minister Amarnath Shetty, Former Udupi MP Vinaya Kumar Sorake, B. Sudarshan, Deputy General Manager (Projects), MRPL and Rahul Vishnu Dass, PCM, Punj Lloyd.

The hotel has 40 rooms on the second, third, and fourth floors, comprising airconditioned and non AC accommodation, along with premium suites and family suites. A unique offering of the hotel is “Shubha” and “Mangala,” two spacious fully furnished penthouses meant for family stay, of 2,500sq ft with 3 bedrooms, a hall, and a balcony.

The hotel has four restaurants: “City Café,” a vegetarian restaurant and coffee bar serving ethnic Mangalorean dishes; “Magus,” a multi cuisine family restaurant and bar, which can seat 270 guests; “The Outpost,” a roof garden outlet attached to the banquet hall, where mocktail and cocktail parties can be arranged and “Shimmer”, a sports bar with high voltage Italian sound system.

The hotel’s multi cuisine menu includes North Indian, South Indian, Moghlai, Tandoori, Chinese, and sea food delicacies.

The conference facilities of the hotel include “Harmony”, a board room which can accommodate 35 delegates at a time, with facilities like in-house sound system and over-head projector (OHP). “Prathik,” the banquet hall, situated on the 6th floor has a seating capacity for 250 guests with a ready-to-use stage and in house sound system.

M. Srikanth Nayak and P. Vasudev Kamath, the partners of SRK Associates and Dhanraj Shetty, the owner of the building were present. The inauguration ceremony was followed by variety entertainment programme.
