Mangaluru, Jan 26, 2016 : Police in Mangaluru were on their toes and on a search operation in almost all markets in the city including Central Market after they received a phone call claiming a bomb has been planted in a crowded market in the city.
Soon bomb detection squads as well as sniffer squads were in action and scanned all the markets and even malls, but nowhere explosives were found. Police have gathered information that the call was made from a shop at Kankanady market. Sources revealed that the caller, a 17 year old boy working at the Kankanady Market has been detained.
How the tension prevailed in the police department and the public as well. But never play up this was. No excuse has to be given as one call created panic in the city.
The youth fell in his own trap. But never use these pranks to bluff anyone . The police were vey smart they traced the location of the youth . He has to face a strict punishment.
