Mangalore Today News Network

Puttur, Jan, 17, 2015:  Vishwa Hindu Parishad  International President  Praveen Bhai Togadia has  strongly defended the recent statements of some BJP leaders  giving a call to Hindus to have four children.

Participating in the Virat Hindu Hridaya Sangama held at the grounds in front of the Puttur Mahalingeshwara Temple on January 16, Friday, Togadia  said “When  the government cannot implement  a rule to ensure that  a couple can have only two children, no fault can be found in the call to have four children.”

He further made a strong case for the implementation of Uniform Civil Code. On the much debated reconversions issue he said “The government should  ban religious conversions or else allow the Hindu outfits  continue with re-conversion.”
