Mangaluru, July 19,2017: Several parts of the district including Mangaluru has been receiving heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds since the past couple of days.
The rains have brought along them problems of water logging at several areas in Mangaluru including Kankanady, PVS Circle, Bunts Hostel and other places.
Strong winds were also reported from Thokkottu, Kotekar Beeri, Talapady and nearby areas.
Chaos prevailed at Kaniyoor-Bellare when river water gushed into the road. A bridge at Chelyaka was also inundated.
