Sasikanth SentMangaluru, July 19, 2019:   Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil has declared a holiday for schools and PU Colleges in the district on July 20, Saturday  in view of the heavy rains that have been lashing the district since the past two days.  A red alert has also been declared in the district as the Meteorological Department has  warned of  heavy rains for the next three days.

Water logging has been reported from several parts of the city. The administration has cautioned public against visiting water logged areas as well as beaches and river sides.
