Halady: Lorry knocks down bike rider, dies on spot

Kundapur, Aug 13,2016: Reports state that a tragic accident happened when a biker was killed after he was hit by a lorry at Halady, Kundapur.

Chandra Madivala (37), resident of Hallady owned a fast food outlet at Hallady.

He was on his way to Halady from Souda when the accident took place.

A lorry transporting LPG cylinders from Shivamogga to Mangaluru collided into the bike and Chandra was thrown on the road; his helmet was shattered to pieces.

He suffered severe head injuries and succumbed on the spot.

Just have a look at the road . In the metaled road if roads seem to be bad in some places it is naturally a risk to two wheeler riders. The potholes won’t be q problem for heavy vehicles.
