grand finale of ‘Bale Thelipaale’ Tulu comedy competitionYedapadav/Mijar, July 12, 2013: The grand finale of ‘Bale Thelipaale’ Tulu comedy competition will take place on Saturday, 13th July, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Shasthavu Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple, Badaga Yedapadav, Mijar, Mangalore. The finals will see the top 8 teams who have passed the preliminary auditions and quarter finals competing for the Cash Prize of Rs. One Lakh.

Sri B. Ramanath Rai, Hon’ble Minister for Forests, Environment and Ecology & District In-Charge; Sri K. Abhayachandra Jain, Hon’ble Minister for Youth Services and Fisheries and Sri U.T. Khadar, Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare have kindly consented to be the Chief Guests.

The Panel of Judges are: Sri Vijaynath Vittal Shetty, Chief Co-ordinator, Shasthavu Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple; Sri Vijaykumar Kodialbail, eminent Tulu theatre personality and film producer; Sri Naveen D. Padil, famous Tulu theatre and film actor and Dr. Shivsharan Shetty, Director, NammaTV, Mangalore.

“I appeal to the people to come in large numbers and witness this unique event,” said Sri Vijaynath Vittal Shetty, Chief Co-ordinator of the event. Free to and fro bus transport is arranged from Yedapadavu Junction to the venue.

The Eight Finalists:
1. Telikeda Tenali, Mangalore
2. Prashamsa, Kaup
3. Friends, Mangalore – Boloor
4. Umesh and Party, Mijar
5. Telike Kudla, Permannur, Thokottu
6. Shobha Rai and Party, Kunjathoor
7. Chandrahas Shetty and Party, Puttur
8. Kudla Kusal, Mangalpady

The winners of the finals will be given prizes in following categories: First - Rs. 100,000/- Second – Rs. 50,000/- and Third – Rs. 25,000/-, Fourth – Rs. 10000/-, 5th – Rs. 5000/-, 6th – Rs. 3000/-.

Naveen Shetty will introduce the show and Suvarna Shetty, Rupesh Shetty will be the anchors.

‘Bale Thelipaale’ is organized by Shasthavu Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple in association with NammaTV. Capsule of the show is telecast on NammaTV every night from 8:15 to 8.45p.m and repeat 10.30 to 11 PM
