Govt scheme loans disbursed to beneficiaries of Mangaluru South constituency

Mangaluru, Feb 13, 2018:  Loans under various government schemes advanced to beneficiaries of Mangaluru South Assembly constituency limits were distributed at a function held at the Town Hall on February 13, Tuesday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Presiding over the function, Mangaluru South  MLA J R Lobo said a new scheme wherein  widows and divorcee women too would get loans for self-employment  on behalf of the Minorities  Development Corporation, would be launched from this year. Loans upto Rs one lakh would be given of which 50% would be subsidy, he said

Ivan D’Souza, MLC, MA Gafoor, President of State Minorities Development Corporation, Sridhar Bhandari, District Manager of the Corporation,   Mayor Kavitha Sanil, Deputy Mayor Rajanesh,  Corporator Sabitha Misquith  and many others were present.

A total of 801 beneficiaries were disbursed Rs 225.14 lakhs   under self employment, Shrama Shakti  and  Micro loan  schemes. A total of 315 beneficiaries under Arivu Scheme  are yet to get loans.
