Governor launches "Aasare" scheme of Kadiyali Ganeshotsava Samithi

Udupi, Sep 9,2016 : "Aasare" is a scheme envisaged by the  Sri Ganeshotsava Samithi of Kadiyali,   aimed at adopting orphans and extending financial aid to their education. This novel scheme was inaugurated by the State Governor Vajubhai Vala during the golden jubilee celebrations of the Ganeshotsava of the Samithi on September 8.

In his address, the Governor hailed the Samithi for its kind gesture which will go a long way in helping the orphan kids.

He urged the people to uphold the rich culture of the land and to face problems  by taking them as a challenge.

Sri Brahmananda Saraswath Swamiji of Sri Gurudev Mutt, Dharmasthala, who blessed the occasion, urged parents to give priority to inculcate noble virtues in children.

Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel,  Jayanth Patel, MLA from Gujarat and many other dignitaries were present.

K Raghupathi Bhat, former MLA presided over the function.
