Good rainfall in Mangaluru, elsewhere in DK

Mangaluru, June 3,2017 :The city of Mangaluru as well as several parts of the district received incessant showers on June 2, Friday marking the arrival of monsoons.

rainfall The showers as expected inconvenienced pedestrians and motorists as several places have been dug up and there were no warning sign boards too adding to the problem.

Vehicles were caught in slush in several places including at Nantur where an autorickshaw was caught in slush. The city also witnessed traffic block at several places.

Many other places including Suratkal, Mulki, Padubidri, Kaup, Haleyangady, Shirva, Manipal, Brahmavar too received good rains.

Timely rains rae always helpful , though it is inconvenient to public ewe have to compromise with nature as its for or good
