Mangaluru, Jan 07, 2019: Senior Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary has urged the Kerala Government to take strict measures to ensure all women are allowed entry into the Sabarimala shrine.
Speaking to reporters here on January 7, Monday, Poojary while referring to the entry of two women below 50 years of age to the shrine, said there is nothing wrong in it. "Allow all women to enter, God will be pleased. Ayyappa has never told about denying entry to women. Those opposing are resorting to politics. Strict action must be taken against such people," said Poojary.
Kudroli Temple Bhramakalashotsava
The Bhramakalashotsava of Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra will be held on February 11 to 17 said Janardhana Poojary. The existing Kalasa will be replaced with gold Kalasa made weighing about 1 KG valued around Rs 45 lac. The installation of new Dwaja Stamba (Kodimara) will be held on this occasion. The offertory procession will be taken out from Nehru Maidan to Kudroli Temple on February 13.
