Mangaluru, Nov 26, 2020:    The Mangaluru chapter of the Girls Islamic Organisation, Karnataka organised an Art Rage  awareness campaign with the theme "Let Your Art Do the Talking" As  part of International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women.

Revathi, Inspector in Mangaluru Women’s Police Station  inaugurated the programme along with  Shobhana, retired lecturer of Roshni Nilaya.

In her address, Shobhana stressed the need for women to raise their voice against violence and abuse with courage.

Umaira Banu, State President of Girls Islamic Organisation, Shahanaz M, Editor of Anupama and others participated in the campaign.

The activists also  created awareness through a Flash Mob and were  seen  with  mini placards  with the words   "#SayNoToRape" affixed on their backs.
