Gang barges into saloon at Kannur; hacks young man to death

Mangalore, Oct 31, 2014 : A young man hailing from Kannur near Adyar was  brutally  killed by a  gang of six assailants which barged into a salon  at Kannur  on  October 31, Friday.  The deceased identified as Ijja alias Ijaz (28) had come to the Modelling Hair Dressers at Kannur for shaving when the assailants who came by a car attacked him with machetes and fled the scene.

 

 

 

The incident resulted in  panic in the area and police who rushed to the spot shifted the body of Ijaz to the Wenlock Hospital.

It is learnt that he was suspected to be an accused in a case of murder reported a year ago. His murder is said to be a revenge killing.

Mangalore Police Commissioner  R Hithendra  visited the scene of the crime. Further investigations are underway and a manhunt has been launched for the killers.
