Gambling den busted at Puttur, five arrested

Puttur Oct 19, 2016: Puttur Police busted gambling den and five men were arrested during a raid conducted at Shanthigodu in Puttur on 18 October Tuesday night .
Arrested have been identified as Abdul Rehman resident of Kalladka, Rohit resident of Sajipa, Hemanth resident of Puttur, Aruna Prasad and Shivappa resident of Maani.
The Police also seized cash amounting to Rs. 3,71,000, One gas light, Two Rickshaw, One motorcycle and 44 playing card.
Puttur Town Police received credible information that the gambling den was operational at Shanthigodu and immediately swamped the area and raided the place.
Operation was carried out by Puttur town Police station head constables Harish, Kishore Shetty, Mallesh, Manjunath, Ramesh Lambani, Sharif and others
