Gali Janardhan Reddy supports Kalladka School with Rs 26 lakh

Mangaluru, Aug 23,2017: Mining baron and former BJP minister, Gali Janardhan Reddy met RSS Leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat at Sri Rama Vidya Kendra, Reddy visited the school in the backdrop of grants from Kollur temple to the school having been withdrawn by the government citing rules. Reddy said that he was visiting this school after a gap of 13 years.

I cannot be quiet when Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat is facing problems. Hence I and my friends have decided to help the school with funds. Even if the government stands firm on not sanctioning grants to the school, we will make sure that the school will thrive and flourish. We are fully supporting the ’Bhikshandehi’ movement.

Mahesh Vikram Hegde, said that on the ninth day of the movement, a sum of Rs 38 lakh was received in total including Rs 26 lac given by Reddy. He added that the educational institution has so far received 5,000 kg rice and that he and others behind the movement are confident of crosing the target of Rs 80 lakh.
