Sakleshpur, June 29, 2016: The car hit a tree near Kumbaragatte on Bengaluru-Mangaluru Road in Sakleshpur taluk on  June 28, Tuesday evening killing 4 people in it. The police identified the deceased as Krishna Kumari (22), Dhananjaya (24), Nishanth (23) and Kishan (22).


The four were returning to Bengaluru after visiting Dharmasthala in a Maruti Swift. The driver lost control of the car at a curve near Kumbaragatte. Krishna Kumari, Dhananjaya and Nishanth died on the spot. Kishan died in a hospital in Sakleshpur.

Following the accident, traffic on the NH 75 was hit for about two hours.

Senior police officers visited the spot. Sakleshpur Rural police have registered a case. The police are trying to contact the relatives of the dead.
