Former underworld don Muttappa Rai critical

Bengaluru, May 14, 2020:  Former underworld don Muttappa Rai who is also the  founder of Jayakarnataka organisation, continues to remain critical at the Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru.   Rai who has been suffering from cancer since the past few months  is said to be in ventilator support.

 

Rai who was ailing since the past six  months had availed a long treatment at the hospital and had returned to his house at Bidadi where treatment had continued. In fact he had even convened a press meet some time back wherein he had informed that he was suffering from cancer.

On Wednesday night, his health had deteriorated following which he was rushed to hospital. His two sons, sisters and other family members are by his side.

Rai’s  first wife had died of ill-health a few years ago following which he had married for the second time. However, his second wife had reportedly  moved away from him  after he developed health complications.
