Five people test positive for Covid-19 in Puttur, Kadaba

Puttur, July 10, 2020: Five people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Puttur and Kadaba taluks on Friday. With this the total Covid cases in these two taluks has risen to 33.
A 69 year old man from Chikkamudnur who had underwent surgery in a Shivamogga hospital is among those who tested positive. Another person whose report has come out positive is a 26 year old man. Both have been shifted to Mangaluru’s Wenlock Covid Hospital.
A youth who was in quarantine in Mangaluru after returning from abroad too has tested positive. He hails from Golikatte. A resident of Kutruppady who is an employee at a private hospital in Mangaluru had tested positive two days ago. His wife and daughter have now tested positive and have been shifted to Wenlock.
