First batch of Hajj Pilgrims to Depart from Mangluru on Aug 04

Mangluru Aug 03, 2016: The occassion was organised to hand over the passports to pilgrims by Hajj Services and the urban development Minister Roshan Baig at the Mangaluru International Airport on August 03, Wednesday . As the first batch of 138 pilgrims were on their holy pilgrimage of Mecca and Medina tomorrow August 04, Thursday at 7 am.
Five batches consisting of 630 pilgrims from five districts like Dakshina Kannada, Chikkamagluru, Udupi, Hassan and Kodagu, will be leaving via Mangaluru international airport. A total of 406 pilgrims are said to be from the Dakshina Kannada.
On this occasion MLA of Mangaluru North constituency Moideen Bava, MLA of Moodbidri constituency Abhayachandra Jain, Mayor of MCC Harinath, MUDA chairman Ibrahim Kodijal, Minister Ramanath Rai , Minister for Food nad Civil supplies U T Khader and many others were present. All wished a Happy Journey and a Safe retun of all the pilgrims on board.
