Fire mishap : Welder dies while undertaking work in empty oil tanker

Mangaluru, Jan 15, 2024: A welder who was at work atop an empty oil tanker at Baikampady lost his life due to an accidental fire on January 13, Saturday night.
The deceased is Ronald Paul (30). Ronald along with six other workers was undertaking welding works of an empty tanker ata private petro chemical factory at Baikampady when a fire erupted in the tanker. Ronald who sustained burn injuries fell 20 feet down sustaineing serious injuries. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital where he succumbed.
Other workers sustained minor injuries.
