Fatal accident between car and truck in Bhatkal leaves 2 dead, 3 injured

Bhatkal: September 18, 2015: In a tragic accident two persons were killed and three suffered serious injuries after the car in which they were travelling collided with truck head-on in Bhatkal on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Fayyaz Ahmed (21) and Syed Ahmed (48).
The injured are Fazlurahman, Javed Kola and Pinto.

According to the sources, Fayyaz, Syed and three others were going to Huballi in a swift car, a truck which was coming from the opposite direction collided head-on with the car.

The impact of the accident was such that both Fayyaz and Syed died on the spot. Fazalurahma, Javed Kola and Pinto were critically injured in the accident.  The locals admitted Fazalurahman and Javed Kola to a hospital in Kundapur while Pinto has been taken to Manipal Hospital.

It is learnt that Fayyaz was pursuing mechanical engineering at Anjuman College in Bhatkal.

The body of the deceased was taken for the autopsy and was then handed over to their relatives.
