Mangaluru, Dec 20, 2019: It has been reliably learnt that former Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar and some Congress leaders who had arrived in the city in the wake of Thursday’s violent protests, have been detained at the Mangaluru International Airport and have not been allowed to visit the city where curfew has been clamped.
Source said the leaders including S R Patil, M B Patil, V S Ugrappa, Basavaraj Rayareddy and Nazeer Ahmed are expected to be sent back to Bengaluru.
