Evaluation of II PU answer scripts to commence today

Mangaluru, May 28, 2020:   DK PU College Principals Association has informed that evaluation of answer scripts of II PU in five centres of Mangaluru will commence from Thursday. All the Deputy Chief Examiners arrive the evaluation centres on Thursday and Assistant Examiners on Friday.

 

The evaluation of answer scripts were supposed to commence from Wednesday. However, owing to various reasons, the association had asked to postpone the evaluation process until the Covid-19 pandemic situation eases in the state.

PU department director and DK district administration has responded to the demands of the PU teachers, said Association President Umesh Karkera. The authorities have directed the MCC to sanitise all the rooms where the evaluation of answer scripts will take place in five centres. Further, the district administration has promised to supply sanitisers and thermal scanner to the valuation centres.

PU department director has also agreed to pay Rs 500 per day to the ‘D’ group workers who will provide help in the valuation process. The district administration has also agreed to arrange KSRTC buses for the travel of the teachers from valuation centres to their houses, he added. The district administration has also given permission for the opening of the canteens in the valuation centres. Further, PU department director has promised to issue orders to all the eligible teachers to take part in the evaluation of answer scripts, he said.
