Bantwal, Jan 10, 2018: Bantwal Rural Police have arrested two persons on the charges of barging into a house at Meramajalu on Sunday night and threatening a woman and her daughter for speaking to people of other faith.
The arrested persons are Umesh (33) and Ramesh (48). The aggrieved woman had lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the miscreants had threatened her and her daughter by stating that they will have to quit the village if they continue to interact with people of other faith.
Both the accused have been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody. Some other accused in the case are absconding.
