Dubai: Mangalurean entrepreneur Devesh Alva passes away

Dubai, Dec 31, 2023: Devesh Alva, a respected individual from Mangalore and a prominent figure in Dubai’s social circles, passed away this morning following a year-long battle with illness. As the Managing Director of Pioneer Marine Services in Dubai, he made significant contributions to both business and community affairs.

Devesh was not only a leader but also a cherished friend to many, leaving behind a legacy that will be warmly remembered. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from SDM College of Engineering & Technology, he was not only a dedicated professional but also an active athlete with a passion for singing.

Survived by his parents, Jaya and Lalitha Alva, his wife Reshma Naik Alva, and son Laksh, Devesh’s presence will be deeply missed. The funeral is scheduled to take place at his residence in Mangalore on December 31, 2023.
