Driver dies as car goes out of control, hits 3 vehicles

Bantwal, Nov 18, 2017:  A car which went out of control of its driver rammed against three vehicles  and came to an abrupt halt after hitting an electric pole near Panemangaluru on November 18, Saturday afternoon. The driver of the car has lost his life in the mishap.

The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Naika (30), son of Madhu Naika of Babanakatte in Netlamudnur village. He was an employee of Neralakatte Co-operative Bank and was reportedly on way to the SCDCC Bank  Branch at B C Road to deposit money.

The  car which Rakesh was riding had hit an oncoming Bolero, another car and an autorickshaw. It  had later landed  in a nearby field after ramming against an electric pole. Rakesh is learnt to have died on the spot.

District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai who happened to pass  that way, stopped enroute and  enquired about the accident.
