Dr. Avinash Shetty felicitated by Nitte University

Mangaluru, Jan 11, 2020: Dr. Avinash K. Shetty, Associate Dean for Global Health and Director of Global Health Education at Wake Forest School of Medicine, USA was felicitated at Nitte (Deemed to be University) on Tuesday 7th January 2020. Dr Shetty is a visiting Professor since 2003 and a key research collaborator responsible for securing NIH funded project aimed at strengthening the capacity of biomedical scientists at KSHEMA.

At this ceremony, on behalf of Wake Forest School of Medicine, Dr. Shetty presented the ‘Certificates of Recognition’ to Dr. A Veena Shetty, Dr. Suchetha Kumari and Dr. Sanjeev Badiger for their role as Chief project collaborators at KSHEMA. The Chancellor of the University Shri. N. Vinaya Hegde, Pro-Chancellors Prof. M Shantharam Shetty and Mr Vishal Hegde, Vice- Chancellor Prof Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Registrar Dr Alka Kulkarni, Finance Director Mr. M Rajendra and all the Heads of the Institutions were present at the ceremony.
