Puttur, Dec 24, 2017: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah must shun selfish politics and ensure that the state’s interests are protected in the Mahadayi issue, said Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda.
Speaking to reporters at Puttur, Sadananda Gowda said the CM who used to earlier ask the BJP government at the Centre to settle the dispute as Goa too had a BJP government, is now not responding when the issue was about to be settled. The Karnataka Government must co-operate as the BJP has succeeded in inviting the Goa CM for talks, he said.
Gowda accused Siddaramaiah of resorting to religion based politics and added that divide and rule policy can never meet with success.
