Dist. Minister Rai says Kadaba will get taluk-tag

Uppinagady, Dec 5, 2014:   After inaugurating the Janata Darshan programme and the office of Tahshildar in Kadaba on December 3, District-in- Charge Minister B Ramanath Rai said that  Kadaba will be declared a taluk centre and will be given first preference during the declaration of taluks.   The minister went on to stress on the need to declare Kadaba as a taluk .and same.

Minister Rai also said that the Janata Darshan programme has been introduced by the Chief Minister to provide access for the socially backward to the benefits of the government.  The elected representatives in village-level should work towards creating awareness among the people towards the facilities they are eligible to reSullia MLA S Angara presided over the programme and said that the government facilities should be disbursed without any discrimination during the Janata Darshan programme and also the beneficiaries should come forward to utilise the programme at its best.

The applications related to Revenue, Transport, Agriculture and Panchayat departJanata Darshan. Facilities from various departments were distributed among the beneficiaries.   Zilla Panchayat President Asha Timmappa Gowda, Puttur Taluk Panchayat President Pulastya Rai, Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim, Additional SP Shekharappa, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Tulasi Maddineni and others were present.
