Mangalore, Aug 6, 2014 : The bail application of the three accused in the case of Derlakatte medical students kidnap and forced sex case, has been rejected by the Karnataka High Court.
The incident was reported on December 18 last year. The assailants had kidnapped the two students, forced them to have sex, captured it on their mobile phones and had then blackmailed them.
Three of the accused namely Sameer alias Munna of Katipalla, Hussain alias Safwan of Halenangadi in Koppala and Iqbal Arif of Derlakatte had applied for bail which are now rejected. The remaining accused in the case camely Arafat, Iqbal Aris, Nisar, Nawaz, Imran Althaf are also behind bars.
The hearing in the case is scheduled on August 14 in the Sixth District Sessions Court.
