Depressed over mother’s illness, son commits suicide

Kasargod, Oct 12,2017 : In a tragic turn of events, depressed over mother’s illness son commits suicide jumping off mobile tower in Vidyanagar on October 11, Wednesday night.

suicide 12 oct 17 Manoj (17), son of Seetharam and Leelavathi couple of Vidyagiri, a SSLC student is identified as the deceased.

Sources said that Manoj’s mother Leelavathi is an endosulfan victim, she is bedridden from past few years. Manoj was depressed over this . On Wednesday after their dinner , Manoj had been out but did not return back. They were worried and went in search of him , to their shock found him lying in the pool of blood near the mobile tower. They immediately rushed him to Hospital, but was proclaimed dead.

Case has been registered in Badiadka police station.
