Kundapur, April 27, 2014: The Election Commission has ordered re-polls in Booth No. 174 of Uppinakudru village in Tallur Gram Panchayat following the technical snag that developed in the Electronic Voting Machine during the recent Lok Sabha elections.The re-election will be held on April 29.


election 1Kundapur Tahsildar Gayatri Nayak has informed that  re-polling has been ordered as it would be difficult to count the votess due to the defect in the EVM.


Voters in Ward No. 2 from Door Number 285 onwards and voters of Ward 3 can cast their votes between 7am to 6 pm on April 29. The   voters will have their left middle finger inked, a press communiqué from taluk election officer said.
