Deer Park’s Musical Fountain to be inaugurated by April end : MLA Lobo

Mangaluru, April 13,2017 : The Rajeev Gandhi Musical Fountain being constructed at the Deer Park at Kadri at a cost of Rs 5 crore would be inaugurated  by this month end, informed MLA of Mangaluru South  J R Lobo.

He was speaking after inspecting the project works at Kadri Park on April 13, Thursday along with officials of MUDA, MCC and Department of Horticulture. Stating that MUDA had spent Rs 30 lakhs on the project, Lobo said  the project needed another Rs 30 lakhs for its completion. The project was supposed to complete in March but could not meet the  deadline owing to some reason, he said and instructed officials to complete the works at the earliest.

Lobo also stated that there was a need for parking arrangement  for about 500 vehicles in  the area.

K Suresh Ballal, MUDA Chairman, Srikanth, MUDA Commissioner,  Praveen Chandra Alva, Corporator, Janaki, Horticulture Department Officer, Rajendra Kalbavi of Nirmithi Kendra  T K Sudhir, Director of KSRTC and others were present .
